Following its acquisition of Chesapeake Energy’s Ohio holdings in a multi-billion dollar deal late last year, Encino continues to focus on its foothold within the Utica Shale and the state, according to WKSU.
Along with committing to its headquarters in Louisville, Encino has hired more than 100 people at that location and is actively recruiting.
“We’re trying to hire local,” Encino’s Communications Director Jackie Stewart said. “I mean, over 70 percent of our entire employees are here in Ohio.”
