The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection fined a subsidiary of Energy Transfer LP $140,000 for violations at the construction site of the B15 Well Connect Pipeline in western Pennsylvania, according to Farm and Dairy.

DEP investigators found a 30-foot landslide that occurred within the limit of the permit and was not reported. Additionally, the pipeline right-of-way was not marked with flags and another section of the project had “accelerated erosion and sedimentation.”

The DEP announced a consent order and agreement Aug. 10 with ETC Northeast Field Services, LLC. The $140,000 civil penalty will be put into the state’s Oil and Gas Program Fund.
