The US oil and gas rig count climbed 7 rigs to 567 during the week ended June 16, according to data from Enverus.
Natural gas rigs increased by 6 to total 135 and oil rigs inched up 1 to 431.
The Eagle Ford Shale of South Texas gained the most rigs, adding four for a total of 41. The Marcellus Shale remained unchanged at 35 rigs.
