Gulfport production jumps 19 percent from last year

Comparing its third quarter in 2017 to the same period this year, Gulfport Energy reported its net production grew 19 percent, according to Kallanish Energy.

The company’s net production averaged 1.43 billion cubic feet equivalent per day (Bcfe/d) during the third quarter this year, increasing from 1.20 Bcfe/d in the same quarter of 2017.

In the third quarter this year, the company produced 104.98 Bcfe from the Utica Shale in Ohio, 25.26 Bcfe from the SCOOP play and 1.01 Bcfe in southern Louisiana. Utica production jumped from 90.82 Bcfe in the same quarter last year, a 15.6 percent increase.
