During her debate with Vice President Mike Pence Wednesday night, Sen. Kamala Harris, Joe Biden’s vice presidential candidate, said repeatedly that the Biden administration will not ban hydraulic fracturing if he wins the November election, according to Natural Gas Intelligence.
“First of all, I will repeat, and the American people know, that Joe Biden will not ban fracking,” Harris said in response to a question about Biden’s view of a so-called Green New Deal (GND). “That is a fact.”
In addition to Harris’ comments, Biden also has said in recent weeks that he would not ban fracking.
