Investors expected to reach decision on Ohio ethane cracker in first half of 2020

The developers of a possible ethane cracker in southeastern Ohio expect to reach their final investment decision on the project during the first half of this year, according to Rigzone.

Site preparation, engineering and design work have been underway since mid-2019 to prepare for the potential multibillion-dollar project that PTT Global Chemical America would develop with Daelim Chemical USA in Belmont County, Ohio.

TTGC reportedly has already spent more than $100 million on detailed front-end engineering design.
