A natural gas pipeline stretching about 500 miles from Monroe County, Ohio north to Bridgman, Michigan is being considered by Trans Canada, according to Morrow County Sentinel.
The pipeline would be an extension of Trans Canada’s ANR pipeline. It would transport shale gas collected through hydraulic fracking.
Trans Canada will survey the land that the pipeline would cross and contact landowners about the pipeline’s route. The company should know by the end of 2014 if it will continue with plans for the project. The pipeline would be finished by June 2017.
