A new pipeline in Guernsey and Noble Counties will serve major customers in Eastern Ohio’s Utica Shale, according to Zanesville Times Recorder.
The pipeline will transport light oil condensate and will handle 50,000 barrels of oil per day initially. The pipeline will feature a compression station and stabilization facility. It will connect to the existing Ohio River Valley pipeline that runs through Muskingum and Washington Counties.
About 150 to 200 jobs will be created in Eastern Ohio with the pipeline’s construction. Additional connecting facilities could potentially be built in Coshocton, Holmes and Harrison Counties.
