Ninth District Court of Appeal becomes second to affirm survey access for NEXUS pipeline

On Sept. 12, 2016, the Ohio Ninth District Court of Appeals affirmed that NEXUS Gas Transmission, LLC has the legal authority to access private property and conduct the surveys required to construct a 250-mile natural gas pipeline.
The ruling was originally made last year in the Medina County Court of Common Pleas, according to ShaleOhio.
The Sixth District Court of Appeals came to a similar decision in an appeal from the Erie County Court of Common Pleas earlier this year.
