A Coshocton County man decided to get the word out on his opinions of injection wells, and now he faces a lawsuit.
American Statesman reports that the man’s billboards are aimed at Buckeye Brine, which operates out of Texas, though none of the billboards mention the company’s name. One billboard names the site supervisor of the wells, though.
The billboards all convey the same message: injection wells are bad and ground water is being contaminated and destroyed. Buckeye Brine is asking that the man doesn’t make future false statements about the business, and has also asked the billboard owners to remove the ads.
