Apparently not every company is impressed with Ohio’s Utica shale.

According to Columbus Business First, Halcon Resources Corp., a Houston-based driller, isn’t planning on drilling any more wells in the Utica in 2014. The company currently holds 11 horizontal well permits with three wells producing in Trumbull County and one producing in Mahoning County.

The company owns some 139,000 acres in the Utica.

Halcon is waiting on results from the currently producing wells.
