According to StateImpact Pennsylvania, one drilling company is being creative when it comes to naming its natural gas wells.

The company, Pennsylvania-based Rice Energy, has named some of its wells after superheroes, including Batman, the Hulk, and Captain Planet.

Most natural gas wells are named after the landowners who lease their property to the drillers.
