Pin Oak Energy Partners LLC recently closed a transaction with Seneca Resources Corporation for Marcellus and Utica assets in Forest, Elk, McKean and Cameron Counties in Pennsylvania, according to Business Wire.
The deal includes 14 producing Marcellus Shale wells and two producing Utica Shale wells across eight pads producing from about 4,300 gross acres with daily production of 6.1 MMcfe per day.
The acquisition marks Pin Oak Energy’s third transaction in a 90-day period and the conclusion of an active third quarter for the company. The company currently operates 379 wells producing nearly 12.0 MMcfe per day on more than 36,300 acres.
