Midstream MLP Energy Transfer Partners intends to spend $1.5 billion on a new pipeline network and associated facilities that will be located in southwestern Pennsylvania, according to Pittsburgh Business Times.
Included in the project are 100 miles of high-pressure rich-gas gathering lines, which will feed into a cryogenic plant. It is designed to support midstream agreements with EdgeMarc Energy for the future. In Butler County, EdgeMarc has drilled 20 wells. The company also has more than 25,000 acres under lease in Butler County.
The project is expected to be online by the second quarter of 2017.
