In Carroll County, Ohio, tradesmen can be seen working at the site of the future electricity power plant.
The Business Journal reports that the $899 million plant, which will run on natural gas, will be finished by fall 2017. It is being built by Carroll County Energy LLC, a subsidiary of Advanced Power.
Two other electrical power plants will be built in the region: one in Wellsville in Columbiana County and another in Lordstown in Trumbull County. The Wellsville plant is being built by South Field Energy LLC and will be able to power more than one million homes. The Trumbull County plant is being built by Clean Energy Future LLC.
