Pennsylvania’s Independent Fiscal Office reported a decrease in unconventional natural gas production volume growth during the fourth quarter, according to Natural Gas Intelligence.
The Independent Fiscal Office’s report revealed a 6.7% year-over-year growth rate in horizontal gas well production volume at 1.949 Tcf for the fourth quarter. However, that growth rate was down from 7.2% during the third quarter of 2021.
Pennsylvania’s production grew by 6.8% overall in 2021, which was up from 4% in 2020.
