Rex Energy sells assets to XPR Resources

Pennsylvania-based Rex Energy recently announced the sale of non-operated operated oil and gas interests to XPR Resources for $17.2 million, according to Kallanish Energy.

The deal is comprised of assets in three Pennsylvania counties — West moorland, Centre and Clearfield. It includes associated production and ancillary assets, as well as 61 gross wells that are producing approximately 8.2 million cubic feet of natural gas per day.

Rex Energy has operations in western Pennsylvania and Ohio.
