The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission recently granted the Rover Pipeline approval to begin service at a compressor station and 51 miles of Mainline B pipeline in Ohio between Crawford and Wayne counties, according to Kallanish Energy.
Energy Transfer Partners had filed its request for the recent approvals on April 13. It’s still waiting for approval to begin service on the 100-mile-long Market Segment from Defiance in northwest Ohio to Michigan and other compressor and meter stations on the $4.2 billion project.
Although work is continuing on Mainline B and some laterals, most of Mainline A is already in service and the pipeline is moving Utica and Marcellus Shale natural gas from Ohio, West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania to markets in the Midwest, Ontario and the Gulf Coast.
