WYTV.com reported that this year’s Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber’s Youngstown Ohio Utica & Natural Gas (YOUNG) Conference and Expo is expanding to a two-day event at two different venues.

“The main conference and expo will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 6 both inside and outside the Covelli Centre in downtown Youngstown. The conference’s second day will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.”
The main conference features key speakers including Youngstown City Mayor, Charles Sammarone, Joel Mastervich, president & chief operating officer of V&M and Harry Schurr, general manager of utica operations and Hess J.V of Consol Energy.
The second day, a breakout session, includes speakers from Youngstown State University, Tetratech, Columbiana County Wastewater Treatment Department and Civil and Environmental Consultants.
The expo and conference is a chance for local companies to meet with and market themselves to the major players in the shale gas industry.
