The Pennsylvania Supreme Court decided it won’t hear an appeal by three families with property in the central part of the state, according to LancasterOnline.

The Cumberland property owners fought the use of eminent domain in an attempt to prevent Sunoco Logistics Partners from taking their property for the Mariner East 2 Pipeline.

Running across southern Pennsylvania, the pipeline would stretch from western Ohio to Philadelphia. Sunoco claims it would provide four times the capacity to move natural gas from the Marcellus Shale in western Pennsylvania to its processing and distribution facility near Philadelphia.
