Natural gas prices have been falling rapidly. The San Francisco Chronicle just published an article explaining the phenomenon. The reasons include fracturing, a mild winter and local markets.
What does this mean? Well, consumer prices are expected to be lower because of the surplus the gas companies have after such a mild winter.
