Earlier in July, Consol Energy Inc. expected to post operational losses for the second quarter. Now, the numbers are in and the company’s net loss totaled $603 million, according to Market Watch. Consol’s adjusted loss was $84 million for the year’s second quarter.
The company’s exploration and production division boasted 75.5 Bcfe for the second quarter. This record production compares to the first quarter’s production of 51.9 Bcfe.
In the Marcellus Shale, Consol’s second quarter production volumes sat at 39.0 Bcfe, while Utica production volumes were at 10.6 Bcfe.
