In order to look out for landowners, Land Stewards LLC of Marion, Ohio, was hired as ombudsmen for the Rover Pipeline that will be built across northern Ohio, according to Akron Beacon Journal.

Land Stewards LLC is made up of soil scientists, agricultural engineers, agronomists and conservation planners. The company will work to prevent and correct pipeline problems for landowners before, during and after construction of the pipeline and also mitigate and restore impacts to agricultural lands.

According to Joey Mahmoud, a Rover Pipeline vice president of engineering, Rover Pipeline Co. intends to make the pipeline unintrusive. The pipeline has not yet gained approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
