Liquefied natural gas from Ohio and West Virginia will be making its way around the world with the addition of seaside LNG terminals in the U.S., Shale Play Ohio Valley reports. The addition of seaside LNG processing terminals will allow U.S. shale natural gas to be exported to South America, Asia and Europe.
Dominion Resources plans to open its Cove Point facility in Maryland before 2018. The company’s Blue Racer Natrium natural gas processing facility in Marshall County, West Virginia, will be part of the network that takes natural gas to the Cove Point facility.
Cheniere Energy Inc.’s Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Louisiana has been receiving natural gas, and LNG has recently departed from the terminal on its way to Brazil, according to the source.
