A number of Ohio businesses will provide goods and services for the Rover Pipeline that will cross the state. Akron Beacon Journal reports that Rover Pipeline LCC will spend $87 million on these goods and services, ranging from supply parts to construction contractors to pipeline workers.
Companies in Struthers, Massillon, Mansfield, Mount Vernon, Cleveland and Marietta will be a part of the pipeline’s construction.
The Rover Pipeline will cost $4.2 billion and will transport natural gas from the Utica and Marcellus shales to northwest Ohio and to other markets in the Midwest and along the Gulf Coast. The project has not yet received approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
