Three Rivers Midstream joins Pennant Midstream in Utica Shale development

The Business Journal reports that Three Rivers Midstream LLC has joined Pennant Midstream LLC as a financial backer for its Utica Shale processing plant and gathering pipelines.
The agreement with Three Rivers gives Pennant Midstream about three times as much Utica acreage. Pennant Midstream’s Hickory Bend processing plant is located in New Middletown, Ohio, and has a gas gathering system in Columbiana County, Ohio, to Lawrence and Mercer counties, Pennsylvania.
Three Rivers Midstream is a subsidiary of Houston Williams Partners L.P., which will have a 5 percent investment stake initially.
