PTT Global Chemical has not yet chosen where its proposed ethane cracker will be built, but crews continue demolition work at the Dilles Bottom location.

According to The Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register, workers for FirstEnergy Corp. are tearing down the former R.E. Burger power plant, which began providing coal-fired electricity in 1944.

If PTT chooses the Belmont County location, the ethane cracker would not be able to begin processing natural gas until 2020.
