Ex-Chesapeake CEO Aubrey McClendon dies in car crash

Former Chesapeake CEO Aubrey McClendon died in a single car accident this morning, one day after he was accused of creating a conspiracy between two oil and gas companies in regards to rigging bids for leases.

CNBC reports that McClendon crashed into an embankment just after 9 a.m. the morning of March 2 in Oklahoma City. Police have not yet determined a cause of the crash.
