With a total of 18 projects in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia’s Marcellus and Utica shales, MarkWest Energy Partners LP isn’t slowing down. Columbus Business First reports that the natural gas midstream company operates pipelines, fractionation plants and other equipment associated with delivering and processing gas.
MarkWest is one of the companies that’s still building since it has long-term agreements with oil and gas producers for pipelines and related facilities.
In Hopedale, Ohio, the company is expanding its fractionation plant and in Cadiz, Ohio, MarkWest is adding a third plant to its cryogenic facility. In Noble County, a fourth plant will be added to the Seneca processing complex.
