After ex-Chesapeake CEO Aubrey McClendon died in a car accident March 2, prosecutors have decided to drop charges, USA Today reports.
The U.S. Justice Department asked for the charges to be dismissed March 3.
McClendon was indicted by the U.S. Justice Department March 1 for conspiring to suppress prices paid for oil and gas leases. He denied the charges that same day.
