Rex Energy has plans to sink a dry well in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh Business Times.
The dry well will tap into the dry gas portion of the Utica. It is expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter of 2015 and put into sales before the new year.
Based in State College, Pennsylvania, Rex Energy experienced success in 2013 in Ohio’s Utica Shale in Noble and Guernsey counties. The gas produced at the company’s three “Warrior South Wells” consisted of NGLs, gas and condensate.
