The Ohio Oil and Gas Commission is considering testimony and evidence in regards to a company’s request to resume operations at an injection well site that was shut down in 2014.

The Vindicator reports that American Water Management Services Inc. has asked the Ohio Oil and Gas Commission for permission to resume operations at a reduced rate at company’s site in Weathersfield Township, Trumbull County, Ohio.

In July and August 2014, two minor earthquakes were recorded near the site. The injection well was shut down by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources in connection to the seismic activity.
