According to The Review, Nexus Gas Transmissions LLC has filed a civil lawsuit in order to gain access to properties for surveying purposes.
The owners of three tracts of land in West Township reportedly granted Nexus access originally, but then denied it several times. The owners of three tracts of land — two in West Township and one in Knox Township — denied Nexus access to their properties on several occasions since August 2014.
With the lawsuit, Nexus is asking for an injunction, which will grant the company access to the properties to survey them. The lawsuit was filed in the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court.
The Nexus Pipeline will be an interstate pipeline carrying natural gas through Ohio and Michigan to Ontario, Canada.
