Marcellus shale gas will make its way to Norway via the Mariner East pipeline and Marcus Hook Industrial Complex in February.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P. has pledged $2.5 billion toward the pipeline that will transport ethane and other natural gas liquids. Natural gas liquids (NGLs) are used for petrochemical manufacturing.

The newspaper says that INEOS, a European chemical producer, will use tankers to transport the gas from Marcus Hook across the Atlantic Ocean to Scotland and Norway.
