After the Ohio Department of Natural Resources conducted a routine inspection of an injection well in Trumbull County, it found that the pressure at which fluids were being injected into the ground exceeded acceptable limits, WFMJ reports. ODNR temporarily shut down the well April 23, located at 5425 Parkman Road in Warren Township.

On April 24, an inspector returned to the site of the well, operated by Kleese Development Associates, and found that pressures were still unacceptable. On April 25, the inspector noted that an automatic shut-off switch and a pressure level reader had been installed, so operations were permitted to resume.

KDA previously was forced to shut down other injection wells in Trumbull County.
