Shell ethane cracker is a go

The proposed ethane cracker in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, will officially be built. Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports that Royal Dutch Shell has announced that it is committing to the project.
Crews have been working on the site recently, even though Shell had not yet made definite plans for the cracker.
According to the source, Shell first announced the project in March 2012.
